SET EGGS JUNE 23 ANYONE WITH ME? - Page 3

I figured it out after I posted....  D.gifyippiechickie.gifjumpy.gif

I am a wife and a mother to 1 son, 2 daughters, 2 step sons, 3 step daughters.

I currently have Two Barred Rock Hens and 1 Dominique Roo

and 6 baby barred rock/dominique mix and 1 Black Sex Link Jersey Giant.

2nd hatch date  7/23  I have a lot late on this hatch.

3rd hatch date   7/24  I think a lot are going to be late with the rest due to still air incubator.

4th hatch date   7/26

Since you're in the NE corner of Arkansas, that would be quite a drive for me. Aren't shipping rates kinda high? Actually though I really don't need any more chickens. I started w/10 - 4yrs ago, and now have over 50. My hubby doesn't want more than 20! This last batch of eggs in the incubator I'll mostly have to find homes for.

Thanks for the offer though, I really appreciate it!

Stray dogs killed my modest flock of 10 and I wanted to replace them. Just wanted some eggs and something to look at in the yard. I should never let my son pick up chicks for me! He went chick-a- mania and now we have around 100 birds! AND 2 bators running! This was 4 MONTHS ago????

I'm waiting for day 10 to candle. Seems I can't see much on day 7. Perhaps my light just isn't bright enough.
