3 week old chicks

Here are some pics of my 3 week old girls. We bought 18 chicks from the local feed store. 6 RIR 6 BO and 6 SLW.

They are adorable!!!  I have some 3 week olds and some 6 week olds... you won't BELIEVE the size difference!  They grow SO FAST!!!  smile

Owned by one Chihuahua, an ornery little parrot and a GIANT black cat.  Hoping to get a few laying hens this spring to re-start my chicken adventures on a smaller scale (for now).

John thats awesome......are you going to use 2 coops or just the new one? I guess with 2 you can keep the roosters seperate. My rooster population is growing too roll  Thats a story for the shop smile

I am going to use both coops, with 23 hens I think everyone can get along.

Of all the people I have spoke to locally here they all said that all the silver laced that they got from the local feed stores were Roosters.

I know that I ended up with 2 Silver Laced Roosters and thats all I ordered. Glad I didnt order more than that.

2 Jersey Black Giants, 2 Barred Rocks, 12 Ameraucanas, 12 Black Sex Links, 1 Silver Laced Wyandottes, 2 Gold Laced Wyandottes, 1 Buff Orp, 1 Ameraucana Rooster, 1 Cochin Rooster. 1 Dog and 2 Cats
