(HELP! NEMO!) Chick with bald red (no blood) blue veins visible, Part of wing missing.

My last chick in the batch dubbed 'nemo' since he has a lucky wing, was hatched 24 hours ago. I removed him and he is fluffy everywhere else. He ate, but isn't drinking excessively as other chicks should.

I need some assistance. This area on him completely lacks feathers.

I would put blu kote on it and hope for the best.  The blu kote will keep the others from pecking at it.

The chick 'memo' is doing fine this morning. He is in the brooder next to the other chicks so they can see him and chirp at him. He is eating and drinking. I'll Letha know if anything happens.

sounds like it's doing good. are you keeping it separated because of the bare spot?
