Ours too! I see this a lot, and I really love the message it sends. I just thought I would share. :)

Helen: Daria, do you have to look at everything in such a negative light?

Daria: Could you possibly be referring to the harsh light of reality?

definitely forever dogs here!     I do have arrangements made if some catastrophe meant I had to give up my dogs.      Of course, I also have arrangements for my children if I were to die so I don't see any difference.

My puppy is my forever dog. My brother originally gave him to my son but he decided I was his. Nanuq is the sweetest dog (once you know him) and very protective... and scared of the cats :-)

He is also my guard dog, my flock is his flock. We had a neighbor dog get into our chicks their second day outside the coop and eat one of them, Nanuq came out later and was not happy when he was not able to find the last chick. He chases the other dog away from the property now when he sees her.

So he is a keeper :-) Forever and always
