what genetic will the rooster pass and determine to the chickes and what wil the hen pass to chicks?

I made a mistake, it's the W not the Z.
Well then I ran with your mistake but I think the point was still made.
Sorry if anyone got confused I'm not all that technical just hillbilly genetics from here.

Hi There,

I want to pick the best rooster from my flock to mate the most productive and long distance egg layer in my flock.
I am only concerned with egg production and health, not as much with appearance.

The Hen is hatchery RIR
The different Roos are White Legorn, Black Australorp, RIR, Barred Rock

What traits am I looking for in the rooster for egg laying capacity in his offspring ?
Large abdomen I imagine, and can others please tell me what else to look for in the Rooster ?
Thanks so much BackYardChickens Forum.

Hen passes 50% of the genetic information and Cocks passes 50%

No. Chicken chromosomes are ZW. ZZ Roo and ZW the hen. She determines the sex of the offspring. The Z chromosome is the one that determines that she is a female, it carries no genes at all, it is only there for sex determination. These are gametes (sex cells) not body cells.
But it's the W that determines sex
