It was a good swap. Hot, but that's Florida in July for you. Some late morning clouds kept it from being too bad. I have now sold every bird that I hatched or ordered from this spring and will have to set more turkey eggs this weekend for the fall. I'm also ordering in some more ISA Brown pullet chicks for the fall as well.

It was good to meet everyone!

We want to thank everyone that came to our swap. 400  It was hot but it was a pleasure to see all of the peeps. We may have another swap the end of September. Hopefully it will be a little cooler.

Alieda thanks for hosting the swap It was a great time today  We pulled off the best surprise for fellow chicken lover Carl Stalvey  check out the video on FB under Top Secret chicken misison the wonderful chicken people in florida donated over 60 chickens to help Carl get a new start its amazing how wonderful chicken people are  Thanks again Alieda for allowing us to hijack your swap for this Looking forward to the next one

Wehad a great time, thank you Cmom! Went home with fewer birds than I brought, so that is a good thing! Still have six roo boys that need homes before they crow, though.

I'v had a backyard flock for about two years. I have a Leghorn, a Production Red, a Barred Rock, a French Copper Marans, an EE, two OE, an Ameraucana, Buff Brahma, and a BLRW. And two Rouen ducks and a mess of pigeons. And a partridge in a pear tree.......

Lucky to have: a wonderful husband and 2 beautiful sons, 3 horses, 21 fainting goats, 2 Maremma LGD's, 3 spoiled house dogs and 1 cat. Purebred pens of Blue Andalusian, True Ameraucana, Bantam Mottled and Lavender Cochins, Heritage RIR, Buff Orpington, Welsummer, Marans, BLR Wyandotte, Dark Brahma, Cream Legbars, Cayuga ducks and Black Spanish Turkeys. (and more in the incubator).
