Hello From Charlotte, NC

Newby.  I have three week old Black Swedish ducks Sonny, Sketch, and Lu, and two 3 day old penkins Zoe and Zurry with 1 brother or sister penkin muscovy mix Chase.  6 new babies!  So excited to love and learn form them.

I got my Black Swedish in the mail. Almost a week later I rescued the other three in our back yard.  I have lived on a very large community pond for 4 years and watched the muscovy and penkins become family to everyone on the pond, I feel i have researched watched and learn to the point I wanted to be able to care for the ones left behind by their mothers to be eaten by all the hawks, owls, and snapping turtles let go to early by their mothers to lay more eggs.   So when most of the babies did not make it this year already I ordered my babies. I was lucky to find three running around trying to find mom who was busy mating already on the other side of the pond and left her newly hatched babies behind. We took them in as we had decided to do this year to save a few. Some photos, We don't have a photo of Zurry or chase I just got them yesterday one day after we found Zoe who is below and the sweetest!

Thank you!  They are so spoiled!  Sketch and Chase don't care for the holding so much but getting use to the kissing because...well they sort of had

to because I do it at least 5 times a day to each of them! love.gif LOL I sneak big_smile.png Zoe in at night in the bed and let her cuddle under my

hand, chin, and sheet for a little while.  I couldn't help myself she is so sweet and the one that really thinks I am mommy most. HEE HEE !
