Yeah, I plan on making sure they have ample access to places to get away from hawks, and our fence keeps dogs and cats out (including my own, haha). Oh, TSC has the clamps? Awesome, there's a poultry swap at one nearby this weekend and I was planning on stopping by as someone is selling a brooder! I'll definitely pick some up while I'm there. Thanks for all the advice, I think I will do as suggested and bury the cloth around the outside & look into the poultry netting for the top!

I love your idea about using dog run panels for the chicken run.  Where did you get them?  Did they come with the fencing attached?
