IMG_4262.JPGIMG_4273.JPGIMG_4267.JPGThe first brave girl to explore the outside world for the first time. Eight weeks old today, windy and a bit chilly but most of them eventually made their way outside, except for the little laying birds. Dunno if I,m gonna have to shoo them back in later of if the'll go in on their own. Maybe feeding time will get them back in.smile.pngIMG_4258.JPG

so pretty! What kind are they? I love the pic with the dog! My dogs like to lay outside of the pen and watch the chicks. Every once in a while, Toby will walk up to the pen and sniff. I keep waiting on one of them to peck him on the nose!  I had to help mine back in the coop the first 2 nights but after that, they were fine. Your's should do great!

All it takes is that first one!   They should know how to get back in, chickens are much smarter then we give them credit for!   thumbsup.gif

They are really pretty! I'm still learning the different breeds. I have 2 Buff Orpingtons and 3 reds. No idea what type of reds...TSC just had "red" on their sign. I guess I will figure it out when they are full grown...  idunno.gif
