Newly crowing hen..... or maybe a roo....

About 10 weeks ago, I got two cute little baby chicks, supposedly both female.  This week my Ameraucauna started crowing.  She has always been bigger and dominant.  These are the first chickens I've ever owned so I'm a bit clueless.  Roosters are not allowed in the city limits so if she is a he, she's gotta go.  From pictures we've googled online, we are leaning towards a rooster.  Some advice would be helpful!  Hen or roo? IMG_5222.JPGIMG_5230.jpg

He is a roo. I see his long neck and saddle feathers. Very handsome, I hope you can find him a new home soon. Good luck.

What state are you in? I would post here and you could also try craigs list.

Wow, what a handsome ROO!

A Rottweiler (Roxy), a Labrador retriever (Gypsy), 2 breeding turkeys, 7 poults, 3 goats (Charlotte, Tata & Oreo), four ducks, 3 geckos and a yard full of chickens...

Going back home. No internet at the house, so I won't be online as much. Sorry for any RP inconveniences.

Thanks everyone.  I didn't want to hear it, but it's still nice to know the truth.  I guess now the search begins for a new home and a new companion for my hen.
