Flock Update - The Quackers & Cluckers Share a Treat

Record high temperatures here today, (108° F.) but I got some video anyway. Here are the girls sharing frozen peas.

She's doing fine, still limps but giving us an egg a day. smile.png

Thanks, OldGuy43, I do think of Sunsinger and always hope she is well and happy.

 

I remember Killeen Texas about 45 years ago, was there visiting family one summer.  Don't remember exactly how hot it was, just that it was miserably hot, there was a drought and we were not allowed to flush the toilet very often, we drank lukewarm lemonade from aluminum tumblers, and I lived for the arrival of the ice cream truck.

 

It must have been over 100 degrees at that time.

happy ducks. those chickens better eat up if they water wasn't there the peas would have been gone before chickens had a chance to get onesmile.png
