Hi everyone! I'm new to the site and new to chickens.  We started our first flock just a couple months ago. I am having trouble identifying this breed of chicken.  We only have one that looks like this.  Any ideas?  Thanks!

They lay brown eggs. You can read here about them and the reviews people have made on them. http://www.backyardchickens.com/products/wyandotte

There's a 'breed' tab at the top of the page where you can find out more about them. I'm planning on getting one. As I recall, brown eggs, hardy and can survive the oppressive heat of Mississippi. Good layers. Friendly, good with kids.
