Here are some pictures of the girls: and also a picture of one of his feet, the other foot is literally a leg with a spur and a stump on the end :( (The white hen is the one that he keeps attacking.)

From the white hen's comb it doesn't look like she's laying. Maybe that's why she is resistive to mating.

Well, the kittens aren't so cute anymore and the easter egger cockerels are in the freezer. Plus, I think offering them as "prizes" scared folks off! So, I'm still posting quotes, if you know it let me know. I'm very enamored of this new one, it may hang around for a while!

If his mobility isnt too good he probably isnt able to balance enough to get the job done. Hell try to grab and hold her but if she isnt receptive hell end up having to let her go and there will be lots of squawking.

We have a rooster that we named notoes because well he has no toes or at least the last digits with the nails. We suspect it was because of the cold also. Cold meaning about 35 which I know is not cold to all of you but he was found with 2 others trampled in the rain because of a structure failure, he's the only one that lived and doing just fine know.

Donrae, you are right. My white hen has about two more months until she should start laying. So you may be right on about the whol mating thing!

To me, it looks like your rooster has scaly leg mites.  They can cause loss of toes, feet, etc.  Or, is it just the pic?

When I feel his feet/ legs they feel somewhat smoothe, but rough in some areas. I literally bought him 3 weeks ago from a lady that had no business having chickens. He does not like to put pressure on his stump Ive noticed. And the day that I got him, I thought maybe about scaley leg, but then wandered if thats just how his feet are simce he lost them? Do you think I should treat him for scaley leg anyway?

I would treat him for scaly leg, definitely.  His stump still might be tender from losing his foot.

I would asap! Your other chickens can get it to or all ready have started getting it. Adams flea spray for dogs can be bought and used on all of them. Just spray there feet them put some Vaseline on after that. I would treat all of them and keep changing there bedding. I would treat with the flea spray 2-3 times a week and every day with the Vaseline.
