Curious about breed

Hi. I picked up 3 Mallards and this little girl from the feed store on Sunday. No one there knows what kind of duck she is. Any ideas? Daffy.jpg

Does she have yellow on her chest? Do you know if she is a pure breed? She could be a Cayuga, black Swedish, a black runner, or a mix. Try to add more pics of different angles of the duckling. That might help people decide smile.png

I don't think she's a runner because of her head shape. I'm thinking black Swedish, but could be a Cayuga if the chest is not yellow.

This is the only other picture I have of her right now. I will take more tonight. The red is from the feed store... they marked all the females with a red line Daffy 2.jpg

Could be.

I'm thinking Cayuga because she looks darker in the first pic.

Thanks so much you guys! I will try to get some more pictures of her tonight and post them tomorrow. She is an absolute sweetheart. The only one so far that does not freak out when being held :)

I didn't get the chance to take more pictures of her last night but I did play with her for a while. By the time I got in there to play with them, my phone battery was dead and my husband forgot to bring his phone in the room so I didn't get any pictures.Trying really hard to make the ducklings really sociable. I am babysitting my girlfriend's 4 ducklings as well so I sat on the floor with all 8 of them last night as they crawled all over me and tried to eat my pants. :) She does have a little bit of yellow on her chest... not a lot though. Her legs and feet are all black.
