this is a great chicken website!

here is some advie/info for you and your chickens.(that i know from expierience)

what would kill them and how:

weael:suck blood out and leave body-advice-make sure a weasel cant get throught the wiring of your chicken run/coop.

fox:pick up chicken& carry back 2 den and eat-keep an ear out for the chickens making loud noises to alert everyong--DANGER--

hawk/any big bird:this is the one to watch out for. if you ever see any big birds-usually three at once, sometimes more, sometimes less,-circling in the sky above the area of where your chickens are, i advise that you put them somewhere safe cause when the hawk thinks no ones looking, he'll swoop down and kill& eat the chicken...it happened to my polish one when he wasn't evena a year old.

Welcome from California!  BYC is a great place to learn.  A friendly warning: chickens are addicting. Research "chicken math" and you'll see what I mean!

Best wishes!  frow.gif

Hi (:

I would be a vegetarian if it weren't for bacon

There is a difference between being involved and being committed, the chicken and cow are involved in breakfast, the pig is committed.

Daria: Could you possibly be referring to the harsh light of reality?
