I'm married to a wonderful, caring, loving man. 1 son, daughter by choice and  3 wonderful, beautiful grand babies.

2 dogs, total of 23 chickens and counting!

Ok, I just did it. sad.png I know that it was best, but it still hurts. 

I'm married to a wonderful, caring, loving man. 1 son, daughter by choice and  3 wonderful, beautiful grand babies.

no problem :) even though you are doing what's best for the chick its still hard :(

 

And yay! would love to see more pics when they're all fluffy :)

way to be strong! I know it had to be hard but he/she wouldn't have had much of a life even if it could survive, you saved it from lots of suffering!! hugs.gif

Total of 6 babies! or I should say 8. One I had to cull and one that died in the shell. I don't know why the one died in the shell. It was almost out. :(  Should I candle the rest? The last one was yesterday(Sunday).

CONGRATS!!!!!! I know the feeling and its the best feeling ever knowing you are an accomplished chick hatcher ever though mama did most of it. Regardless it is still awesome!!!

I have 6 happy black star hens Niecy, Nantee, Violet, Chickira, Alice, and Kayla. 2 buff orpington hens Goldie and Tweety, 3 barred rock hens named Salt, Pepper, and Rocky. 3 white rocks named Shirley, Gurdy, and Patsy. 2 speckled sussex named Freckles and Ruby. 2 new hampshire reds named Reba and Ginger. And Duke, my delaware rooster.And 2 brand new chicks who hatched on 6/12/12
