Hey everyone,
Watch out for your fuzzy and furry friends with this heat.Ewe Sheep lost some of her chickens yesterday because of this heat. Even if you have them free-ranging,the heat is still there,it aint going away. Take all precautions for your feathered friends. Put ice in their water troths/holes, if necessary put a fan in their coop behind a tray of water with ice ( a hillbilly swamp cooler), or just make sure you can move your coops to a shady area for these next few days ok??
We all need to look out for each others birds, regardless if we know each other. We are a family here on BYC and I try to look out for everyone here.
stay safe, stay cool, stay out of the sun for these next few days.

Oh the Bunyip’s very bad,And the Bunyip’s very bold,And they tell you that the Bunyip’s Now a thousand years old.
So you better come home quickly,And you better hide very soon,Or the Bunyip’s going to get you....

Yesterday was forecast to be 104. We got to 96, which is still in the pressure cooker, but way better than topping 100*.
