It's such a pity that a vital subject such as a nation's health is used as a political battleground.

I wasn't speaking for you. I was showing you where you might get some draft ideas for your legislation when you become a lawmaker.  big_smile.png

The day this law is fully implemented is the day the we stop being the United States of America and become some kind of copy of the Peoples Republic of China.

Red, you'll get your wish on forced sterilization. It'll take a while before the local health committees are able to establish their policies. Margaret Sanger is finally going to get her wish.

Folks I wish I were joking like I usually do, but I'm not. As for my plan how to handle this, I will not comply.

Three days slow... that's the problem... three days slow.

Ask most any Ron Paul supporter about gop establishment ethics and you will understand my sentiment. Some may just accept the "shenanigans" but not me. I don't have any serious anger issues with the democrats - only ideological disagreements, so if the republicans want party over principle, then I'm happier helping the dems. My major grievances with the dems are the idiotic FDA/DEA raids on pot and raw milk farms. Big government Republicans sure aren't planning to end the drug war and the only farming industries they really care to help are big corporate factory farming industries, so why would I choose them?

He panders to those demographics...I will not use the word,"Class" because we are a classless society. Such terms are used by people like Obama to divide peoples' minds. I have never seen such open display of envy, covetousness, and lust for what others have that we don't than now.

He panders with words and other peoples' money.

Do you really think that nearly 50% of Americans drawing foodstamps is a good thing?  Blacks have nearly 25% unemployment. Those are "His People". How has he helped them?

High school and college graduates have little hope of finding a job that will allow them to live an independent life. How has he helped them?

I bought used cars from smooth, fast talking salesmen, when I was young and dumb, but it didn't take me long to spot a conman.

I'll paraphrase a Bible verse, actually written about harlots: His words were smooth as honey, but the end was more bitter than wormwood.

I'm poor, by every definition of the word, as far as statistics go, and I don't care about the poor. As a matter of fact, I despise obese people on electric carts using food stamps to buy junk food.  Now, if you go to your fridge, open it up and think, Hmmm....Peanut butter or cheese. or look at the cabinet and think Dried beans and weevil infested rice, then I  might care.....and I vote Republican, but I'm a Libertarian by all counts.

Just a point, I noticed that you classified yourself as such, yet you readily embrace the actions of an all encompassing government.

Do you really think that there are not going to be eventual consequences for those who have so readily given their souls to big government, to be their all in all?

Come come! European countries, Australia and New Zealand have State health systems far in advance of the one you are about to adopt. Even Thailand, comparatively poor by Western standards, has a health system for its nationals. None of those countries are anything like China. I don't know what system China has but if it's as good as the one in the UK, great for them.

The suggestion that forced sterilisation will follow this legislation is either a joke or a red hen herring.

That isn't going to change under the Republicans or the Democrats.

The Republicans lie. They have manipulated this entire primary process and it disgusts me.

Have you been paying attention to the primary season? All of them (except Ron Paul) zero in on the poor, blaming "entitlements" for our debt problem. How dare they call themselves Christian. They prefer wasting money bombing other countries while cutting programs which help make sure children do not go hungry. Sick and twisted.

I thought we were supposed to keep religion out of politics. Democrats hate the concept of God/ prayer, and do their best to destroy every aspect of it. A Republican who goes to church is mocked by whom and told, You can't be a Christian because you won't give me your hardearned money?. Don't you see the irony?

As for starving/ hungry kids, When I see 4/5 year olds who can't walk because they are so fat that they  tip over, standing beside a parent who can't put their knees together, I just have to shake my head.
