One of my girls started yesterday doing the egg song and then this morning singing like crazy again. But no eggs. she does the little funny squat when I pet her, her comb is red as can be and now she is singing the egg song... How much longer?

I am wondering about how long your chickens sang the egg song before actually laying?

Happy mother, 1 beautiful husband, three amazing boys 7,8,10 and two wonderful girls 18,10. A playful Pitt Bull girl(Pie), 1Bearded Dragon (Chicken), and four lovely chickens, 1Barred Rock(Amelia), 1RIR(Volcano) 1 Buff orpington (Marigold) and 1 Blue Andalusian (Snuggles)! and a house turkey named Firkee!
