Do quails get colds?

I have one quail who produces an odd sound.  She's my only Tibetan (she's female).  She makes a nasal sound that sounds like a cross between a fart and a snore.  None of the other quail do anything like this.  Is this something Tibetans do, or might she have a deformity in her nasal passages, or maybe have a cold?

Only time will tell what is going on with this bird. If she never develops any discharge, then she probably not suffering from anything in the sinus's. Listen to see if the sound is coming from the lungs. Like a rattling sound inside the bird. She may have inhaled something that is stuck in her nasal cavity. Or as you mentioned, some deformity in the air ways. Just keep an eye on her.
