Pips and Peeps, how can you tell?  What are the distiguishing factors just out of curiosity?

Welcome to BYC and he looks like a roo to me but I guess I could be wrong it's just the red shoulders

The bright pink comb.  And, most of the time, the color pattern you see on your bird is male.

We are off to the feed store tonight to pick up a couple more EEs to replace the one we had to rehome last summer.  Do you have any advice on picking out the females from the males?  They are already sexed and I know what my chances are but maybe you have some wisdom:)
