Americaunas are they really or are they just EE's

Found this ad for americaunas for sale near me...just wondering if they look like pure americaunas or do they just look like EE's?

EE and poor condition too hmm.png

Mixed flock of 54 egg laying hens and a couple Roos.

EE's for sure. I'm assuming they're in poor condition because of the missing feathers on their backs and the dirt on their feet.

It looks like a cockerel EE to me. It doesn't look mistreated. The lack of feathers is most likely slow feather growth from being a male. The dirt on the feet is from free ranging.

My girls prefer the dirt/swamp vs grass. It's cool and yummy bugs.

Easter Egger. Most breeders of AmerAUcanas know that it is spelled with an AU and not an i. Not being snooty, that's just one way you can get a hint of whether the person knows what they are talking about or not when it comes to the breed.
