Medicated Starter Fed to Mature Flock

When I opened the last 50 lb. bag of  Southern States lay mash I recently bought, I thought it looked a little different than usual but really didn't think too much about it. Today I finished that bag and cut it in half to get the last of it out of the bag. When I tipped it upside down I noticed tha tag sewn to the bottom of the bag said Chick Start & Grow(AMP) Medicated. Could this be harmful to my chickens?

No.  No harm.  I don't prefer to feed hens feed with amprolium, but according to all feed makers websites, it is fine.

Be sure that is the only med in it, however, as some other companies do use other products.

Amprolium is the only active drug ingredient listed. Guess I should check the tag before I let Agway employees load it in my car!
