Pet names, We all use them.

Meet Blanche, Dorothy and Sophia.  Rose must be running late.  It's cooled down some this afternoon and these three decided to come out and enjoy the evening.  We all have pet names for our chickens. Why not post images of yours along with their names!

lol my wife would love to name some of our chicks those names

I think those three pullets are gossiping about Rose The Late One.

Married to the old dude, 0 human kids, 2 horses, 10 cockatiels, 2 parakeets, 1 sun conure, 1 amazon parrot,  1 eccentric peacock, 1 gsd, 1 pet terrapin, 1 Blue Copper Maran rooster, and 14 world famous Jersey Giants!

 

 

Stan the Man will be missed.

Hedy Llamar.jpgThis is poo hea-i mean Hedy. Hedwig Llamar to be exact. He gets his pet name poo head or big sexy when he tries to act tough but falls or gives up. Honestly hes the sweetest roo ive evver met, but i think he feels he needs to look tough somtimes.

My buff silkie is Lola (or Lols or Lola-Girl).  My Barred Rock is Calliope but Callie for short.  Sometimes I call her Nick Nack Calllie Wack.  She usually gives me the standard "stink eye" when I call her that LOL  This was right before they found the giant caterpillar in the green tomato.
