So i read that turkeys and ducks both have 40 paired chromeasomes and 80 chromasomes. And to mate animals must have the same amount of chromasomes so is it possable to breed them . if not naturaly but by ai?

I like turkeys and ducks too much to do that to them. lol I cannot imagine that would be a very attractive bird. What would be the purpose? To make a swimming turkey or...I think most breeders breed with a purpose in mind when they have project they undertake. So I would be curious what the project purpose would be. From all that I have read it's not possible (or I assume someone more curious than you has already tried it and if it were a success we'd have heard about it).
