Can not see pictures, only ? Question marks why?

When ever there is a picture in a thread it will not show for me, it loads and loads and loads but never opens why? And always has this question mark in place of the picture. So maddning

 Here are a few questions that will help us find, duplicate, and hopefully resolve the problem:

•  What is the URL of the page that you got the error or had problems?
•  Did you receive any error messages?  if yes, what were they? (please copy and paste the entire message, screenshots are best)
•  What were the exact steps you took before having the problem?  Please be as specific as possible so we can do exactly what you did.
•  How long has it been happening?  If only one time, what day and time did it happen?
•  Which browser and version are you using (eg., Firefox 3.5.9, Internet Explorer 7, etc.)
•  Have you logged out, deleted your internet cache / browser history of files, logged back in, and tried again?
•  Have you tried a different browser (we suggest Firefox or Chrome)?

The question mark can appear if the site the picture is from is blocked on your computer.
I used to not be able to see any of the pics on OPS at the public library, because they'd blocked Photobucket. lol.png
Could also be because the link no longer exists - all the pictures from Poultryland (an old site that was deleted about a year ago) come up as a cross. Which is kind of similar to a question mark. lol.png

No error problems, just not able to  see pics. they load and load and load forever... here is an example.. this page has a tiny egg pic, but it will not stop loading so I can see the thin egg.

went to thread, clicked on url pic and this round thing pops up and starts to load. and load.... and load LOL not able to stop to see any pic at all. this never happened before this site was revamped :(

all the time.

firefox latest edition

have both chrome and firefox :) so its not on my end. or is it?? will delete my cache and try again. I have been able to in the past see pics, but now its a no go .

when I try to open the pic link in a new window this is what I get..

 

Server not found

      

      
      
      

      
        
        

          

Firefox can't find the server at cdn.backyardchickens.com.

    *   If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
          connection.

    *   If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
          that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Have your reset the Firefox settings? http://mozilla-firefox-support.blogspot.com/2012/05/fix-server-not-found-error-in-mozilla.html

If the same thing is occurring in chrome, I'd check the firewall permissions as well.

I'm not sure how to fix, but it seems to be a localized problem to your browser, computer, and/or ISP.

Are you using your phone? Because my phone does that on a lot of websites.

it works!!! thank you all so much, all of a sudden it works again. I did go to the mozilla site and started to clear cache etc. then it stopped working and shut me down. when I got back on hee I can not see the pictures again. thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
