This sound like a good pace to order from. I think I will try it!

I know I will as soon as I get another bigger coop and build a larger chicken yard. I would let mine free range but I have skunks and cayotes, the 2 family dogs and 3 family cats to protect them from. So far I have 1 Amber Star, 2 Ameraucanas (not sure if I spelled it right), 2 Silver Laced Wyandottes, 1 RIR and one unkown breed rooster, I want to someday expand my flock.

My "kids" have feathers and go cluck cluck.

I ordered my first chicks from Meyers and have nothing but good things to say.  The customer service from the first call was very friendly and my chicks arrived healthy and full of vim and vinegar.  They grew into beautiful healthy adults.  I ordered EE, and I got a great variety of color and pattern and all lay colored (blueish green) eggs.

I enjoyed reading your story, so many times we read posts about "the big bad hatcheries" it is so good to see the personal story and know our chickens come from people who love and appreciate them as much as we do.
