3 week old chicks when can i put them outside in the pen

i have 12, pullet chicks  6,  ri reds and 6, barred rocks. they are feathering out nicely. i was thinking 4 weeks they might be ready to move outside to the grow pen.

Depends on the temperature - although it being summer over there, 4 weeks should be ample. lol.png Mostly recommend 4 weeks outside when the temps are above 50-60.

Also depends on whether you have electricity in the grow out pen.  If you did, you could have brooded out there from day one.  

In this heat, 3-4 week old chicks wouldn't need any assistance from a lamp.  Your local weather may be different.  Ours is currently intolerable!!  LOL
