For the record, all pure Barred Rocks have the dots on their heads. Some people can sex them by the size/uniformity of the dots and the wash on their legs, but it is never 100%. The only time BR are sex-linked is if they are ACTUAL black sex links. In that case, the boys have dots and end up barred rocks and the females are solid.
