placing 2 week old peeps under hens with hatchlings

I am wondering if people have had their broody hens "adopt/accept" incubated peeps, as they are hatching out their own. I have 2, two week olds in the house at this time.....and a hatch under 3 broodies due this monday. I would love to slip these 2 older ones under one of the hens the night  her own eggs hatch out. Would the size matter? I don't think so but others opinions would be appreciated.

I had one go broody while I was out of town the whole month of May & she sat on 7 eggs. By the time I got home June 1st it had already been about 25 days. I felt so bad for her & all her hard work because I felt like if I had been home to candled I would have known there was a problem with the eggs under her.  So I got 4 10 day old chicks at the feed store & that night I pulled the eggs out from under her & placed the 4 chicks under her & the next morning momma & chicks were all as happy as can be. The chicks are about 5 weeks old & she is still not ready to give up mothering them.  So I agree with you, it SHOULD work. You just have to keep an eye on her.  Good Luck
