Anyone know what may cause this? I got a flock of 4 chickens last friday night. One chicken looks like this. The other three are a little skinny looking, but generally healthy I think.
But this poor baby...sheesh. Tractor supply said probably mites and gave me some dusting stuff, told me to put it in a pillow case and put each chicken inside and gently shake the sack to get the dust all over the bird. Seems cruel, but I looked around here and no one has a great way of doing it that I could find so I don't know.
But, if it's not mites, I'd rather not put chemicals on them all.
KNow what it could be? The other side is just the same.
