I love my kindles, I have a Fire which I got in November and have had my Kindle keyboard for several years now and love it.

I have found the Fire very addicting, I had to cancel some magazine subscriptions recently though, I didn't have time to read them not to mention spending too much money on them. Backwoods Home is my favorite magazine converted to Kindle.  I love that I don't have to store volumes at home.  I know paper versions can be handy for reference, but I only have so much room.   If you are interested they often have great homesteading and animal information in them.

I will keep an eye on this thread, my kindles are stuffed full of free books!

1 greatly tolerant and participating husband, 2 kids, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 gerbs, 2 hamsters, 1 guinea pig, 3 lionhead rabbits, several fish. My flock of untold number (really don't know and afraid to count) of chickens, 12 guineas, 4 Pekins, and 2 welsh harlequin ducks! Productions, J. Giants, asst bantums, EE, barred & white rocks, L.brahma, SLW, buckeyes, BO, and RIR.
