Do you think they could make the trip?
Of course lol. Adult chickens make even longer trips all of the time. I would wait a few days until the hot weather breaks, though. The boxes are very well ventilated - they saved all of my chickens one sweltering hot day when I broke down on my way to a poultry show. Everyone kept their cool even after the car heated up from the sun.
