Yea!!!! Im going to the auction tonite.I got to sell alot of chickies there.I gotz waaaaaay too many.I know chicken addiction is upon me..maybe I can hold off and not bring anything back home with me.

 

Well if I do I will be fighting disease and such....in light of that last statement...no.

 

maybe...just maybe someone will give me some critter free...like the bbroeg fowl I got two years ago.

 

Im in a conundrum....on one hand I dont want to buy anything there because of the quarantee and medication times

On the other hand, im a sucker at buying animals

 

what to do?

How could I not buy, Speckie-Hen??

 

I have no self control when it comes to critters

 

Imagine if we had acres of land??? oh the maddness....I wouldnt mind if the acres of land had acres of Kudzu.

 

I do have money management skills....

I dont know what to do....

You have to do what my best friend and I do... wear what we call our 'Big Girl Hat'.  Sometimes the hat slips a bit, or completely falls off, but some times it helps me to be a big girl and walk out of the feed store without those chicks or ducklings.  And it helps to remind myself that I have to wait and get another pair of peafowl instead big_smile.png

so what you're saying is that wear a big hat,so I can cover my vision and not see the critters and not buy any?

I do have a chinaman hat....

 

I just might wear it....

 

with my mustache down like fumanchu.....

When I went to the auction to sell birds, I came home with bunnies. Didn't have any of them. I HATE them. So now I go to sell only. Ours has a flea market also. I like selling birds a the auction. I don't have to cull the culls and someone gets pet quality D'Uccles and Olive Eggers, will maybe Marans and Ameraucana's. Yes I too was bitten by the hatching bug. This will be the second one I will be attending, What I learned is make sure you buy dixie cups to put food and water in, It is dusty and they look sickly if hungry and thristy, plus it just isn't nice. I made 105$ from 15 birds.

Well my chinaman hat is a literal hat. it covers me from 50% of the sun (so it says).
