Squirrels

The best solution for egg eating squirrels is a Camo .177 Air Rifle. If you're a democrat, then a squirrel trap near the nest might be a good option for you. you can catch it and release it somewhere so it can bread and eat someone else's eggs. You know, pass the problem off to the next generation.
There's no need for the political jab.

I'm a dyed-in-the-wool democrat, and I keep a Benjamin NPS .177 by the back door for dealing with squirrels and starlings.

I didn't know squirrels would eat eggs. Another darn predator to keep an eye on. Ugh!!
Squirrels eat anything they can get their mouths on - even baby birds.

I remember my Grandpa doing that same thing, except he used a big barrel in his barn filled half w/water & cottonseed on the top (it floats too) to catch big *** rats...we called them wharf rats, one bit my cousin in the old house when she was 5!!

Then he had a big 'ol kingsnake move in and we had no more rats!
