So how did you like the hatchery? How were they packed(chicks)? How was the customer service? Did they pack extras? How healthy were they? Did you have any deaths and how

many? What was the temperature when they arrived? Do they have their own bird or do they order from someone else? I'm not ordering from them I'm just researching for someone else smile.png

Nope. Just one order-- from CA hatchery. They were fine.

I ordered from MPC, but my sister (lives about 40 minutes away) got an order from Chickens for Backyards back in May. I worried for her since they come from Texas I believe, but actually she got hers within 1 day....and my order took 2 days to come from Ohio. She got RIRs and golden wyandottes, 4 total, no extras, and all arrived healthy and are still doing well. She was happy with the overall order process, no complaints.

Not direct experience, but I saw you weren't getting much info here!

I never order from hatcheries.  I just find it cheaper in the long run because of shipping costs, etc to look for breeders in my area. That way I can also pick from different ages I might be looking for.
