If that survey is open to many....I like both D and G.   D is classy and G is natural homey.

Trying to decide on my house. Remember, on it, the wing to the Right is copied on the Left also, where here its not. Mine has two wings, this place only one. This one is very close to what my house looks like though.

REMEMEBER:  MY GEESE HAVE TO LOOK AT THIS, AND SO DO i AND THE NEIGHBORS!  Help me choose good.  My house is like 150' back from the road, so thats why the bright colors.

I'm not Iain but... A:  looks like an old house   but I'm partial to E... but then I like blue and I'm not fond of white, lol

It will be wonderful no matter witch one you chose!

Marty, my vote is for C... as that color should weather well. :)

My menagerie includes 5 horses, 3 dogs, 4 cats, 32 geese (dewlap toulouse & african) and 10 ducks (muscovy, ancona, cayuga & silver appleyard).

NPIP Certified- #UT-179

Anyone can leave opinons, and please do!

These were the remaining color schemes that would be visable from the road (150' away from the house), thus mostly they have striking colors schemes.  I'm so in love with them all, that I can live with any of them.  I've asked you guys (anyone who cares to cast a vote) here, and at hatch day, and at girls vs girls (some other friends of mine) to cast their votes.  Since I'm more interested in the most people actually liking the colors scheme, I just let my family pick our favs, and now we're actally counting them up at the end of the day today (I'm keeping track of where posts leave off) and the one that gets the most votes, I'm buying the paint this weekend.  big_smile.png  I'm not kidding.

BTW, the barn and garage are both going to be repainted barn red.  (The garage is white now, and built 20 years ago, so I'm trying to help it "blend in" a bit better.)

Thanks, you guys are awesome.  (And good people, too)

Why don't sheep shrink in the rain?

Why is there brail at drive up ATMs??

Why are their floatation devices instead of parachutes in my airplain seat???

If a tree falls in the woods and my husband doesn't hear it, am I still wrong????

I sent my paperwork to have them come test in early May and still haven't heard anything back. I am going try to contact them in a few months if I haven't heard anything, but I read they won't test in hot weather since it's too stressful on the birds, so may be awhile for me. No big deal though, by then all my keeper flock will be 4 months old probably and I'll have all the extras gone so I don't have to mess with getting them tested or wintering them over.

Just for fun... here is a pic I took yesterday of my own dewlap babies.  The greys are 10.5 weeks old.  The buffs are between 12-14 weeks old.

love.gif Love it. Most pics I see of dewlaps remind me of english bulldogs, lol. Lots of extra skin and they look like they'd enjoy just sitting around. Love seeing them looking like geese, lol.

I went with my hubby to look at quail today.  The guy had a lone emu.  I told him they should be in pairs.  Talked to him about the geese rescue.  He is a member of the Utah pheasant society.  Going to talk about it in the upcoming meeting.  He also said if anyone goes back to get more geese he might be interested in a emu and would be willing to help with gas.  Just an FYI,  Janet how is everybody doing?  All the boo boos healing?  how is broken foot and cataract girl?
