Hi, my name is Nicci, 42 and I am new to the chicken scene. I just bought my first incubator and have ordered some eggs from 3 different breeders to hatch out (18 in total!

I have decided on the Polish breed as I think they are really pretty. I am very excited and am looking forward to sharing my journey with like minded people via this website. I have already read some of the very helpful information here and look forward to sharing all your experience on all matters chicken big_smile.png

Well, out of 12 eggs only 1 hatched and that one died whilst doing so. I'm so dissapointed and although I feel I followed all the advice I have read on the web, can't helping thinking I must have done something wrongidunno.gif!

It was my first attempt and I am going to try again later this week. Fingers crossed I get a better result.fl.gif
