how to save my chickens

i was wondering if cats will attack my 9 week old hens. some cats are mothers if that matters. if they would get attacked how old should they be. they are buff orpingtons if that matters.

Chickens: 6 Buff Orps, 4 RIR, 3 New Hampshire, 4 SLW, 1 GLW, 1 GL Cochin, 2 Blue Cochin, 3 EE, 2 Barred Rocks, 2 Black Australorp, 2 White Leghorns, 1 Unknown Cross My waterfowl: 4 Swedish/Rouen Cross, 1 male and 3 female. 1 Pair of Khaki Campbells and Buffs. 2 Rouen Drakes. 2 Pekin Hens. 1 Blue Runner hen. 2 African Ganders.

Yes 9 week olds can be vulnerable to cats. You need to protect the hens till they are full grown.

It would be the rare cat that will attack a full grown orpington. It is possible but unlikely, more likely the full grown hens will teach the cats a lesson.
