Oh my gosh! Is that a BLRW in the first pic looking towards the camera?! I want it! Surely you can spare ONE, right?! flgig


I remember a year ago (I think it was) a friend of mine (will let her out herself! hehe) had me send her, I think 200 chicks from a local hatchery. That was a LOT of chicks. She told me to NEVER EVER EVER do that again if she asked me to do it! lau

    I  sure  hope you are prepared  with  enough  room   for 166  chicks  ,  and  ESP.  166  when  they  get  older ...   YIKES ....

Are they the assorted mix breeds they sell at cackle? love the colors and the all fuzzy butts.
when they get  bigger and run like that - they'll need a parade permit !!!!

OK  ...   I  need to ASK  the  stupid  question .  HOW  BIG  is  your coop  and RUN  ?
I have  35  chickens  and  hubby  was  JUST  given  10  bantans  .

AND I AM   SCREAMING   HOLY  COW  POOP  ......

We have  a  full  run  12 x30  and  a   coop  8 x12  and  I  for the LIFE of me  could NOT imagine  having ,  housing , feeding   watering and caring for  your  BUNCH .



PLEASE  TELL ME  THE  SIZES  YOU  HAVE .....................

COOP  ,     RUN ,   BAGS  of  DE   ,   BAGS  of PINE    SHAVINGS   ,    BAGS  OF  FEED ,   SIZES  of  waters  ,  and  HOW  much patiences  ?  LOL

Can you say devorce (sp) as that is what would happen here at this house hubby would leave me.

OP ~ way to go, seriously! You'll be overwhelmed b/c...well...lots of chicks can smell and they're dusty. hehe BUT I bet it'll end up being well worth it!!!

I think it's great!  Sure there are a lot, but you can handle it.  Looks like you have a barn, so that's a good start.
