Maryland's Eastern Shore

Good morning!  I am a reformed lurker on the Eastern Shore...it took me 2 years to convince the husband to "allow" poultry...two weeks later, we have 4 Guineas, 2 turkeys and a RIR hen so far.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Guineas: Riki, Tiki, Tavi & Maude.  RIR Hen: Breakfast.  Turkeys: Thanksgiving Dinner & Practice.

Helen: Daria, do you have to look at everything in such a negative light?

Daria: Could you possibly be referring to the harsh light of reality?

Hi and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan big_smile.png

Home of the world's cutest dachshund, one crazy blue heeler, two cats,
one fat pony, and many (but not too many!) chickens

Can anyone tell me, how many are too many chickens?

Thanks for the welcomes!  These forums are going to be dangerous for me, now that I've screwed up my courage to actually post.
