I may be jumping the gun, but I think my Buff Orpington is a boy. The chicks are 3 weeks old now and he or she seems to be developing more color in the comb than the others. He or she is also the designated protecter of the other three, always circling them around and ready to check out new stuff first. Here is the picture, one is a close up of the comb and the other is my Delaware on the left and the Buff on the right, they are the same age. Sorry for the picture quality, it is a crappy cell phone camera and I hope to get better pictures soon.
Thanks for your help!

I have taken updated photos (how much they change in 2 weeks!) He or she is 5 weeks old now and looking redder in the comb than any of the other chicks. Maybe he or she is just mature (hoping) for her age?

her he or she is compared to a Delaware of the same age

I'm guessing it's a roo too. He has a whole lot more comb than mine do at 10-12 weeks.

I've tried repeatedly to add an image so you can see them, but I can't. I give up.

The bald patches on him show sings of a roo because he is putting his nutrition into growth instead of feathers. I am going through the same thing, this is my 5 week old bo
