Awwww..... (I think)

I work in the scale house of a landfill so I spend most of my days talking to truck drivers. 

A few minuets ago, I was speechless to turn around and see one of my regular drivers standing at the out-bound window with cotton candy BLUE hair.  I asked him what had happened to his hair!?!?!?!  He told me that his little girl was playing beauty shop last night and colored his hair - and it wouldn't come out...  He was blushing, but grinning about it.

Now when I first saw it I was thinking "OMG, what in the world was he doing last night?" - and now I'm smiling picturing the big, tough dump truck driver sitting in some little bitty chair with a 6yr old giving him a makeover.

Great post!

I think is shows how solid most prejudice and bigotry is grounded. In spite of our preconceived notions, people are people.

Hahaha! Cute.

Luckily it wasn't pink. My daughter has the pink shampoo and it washes out in two weeks.

My husband is very good at spending time with my girls. He let them put make up on in the past. Luckily it washes off right away.

My DH let our daughter paint his nails, fashoin paper clip earings and tape them to his ears, cover his hair with barrettes and ribbons--in his office! The look on a big burly man's face when he came in DH's office was priceless. Stunned silence as two manly men eyed each other and then the other man said,"I have daughters" and they both burst out laughing. Yeah, it's a Daddy/daughter thing. Rare and more precious than diamonds and pearls.

 

I bet that made your day!

DHwould let DD paint his toe nails but didn't "Let" her paint his finger nails. One evening he fell asleep in his chair watching tv, that was it! different polish everytime he went to sleep in the chair untill he started sleeping with his hands in his pocketts. LOL. To this day, DD is 21, he sleeps with his hands in his pocketts. 

Forgot to tell you the night before DD got married she painted DH toenails the wedding polish, so he had the photographer take a picture of his purple painted toes!
