Okay so, Im 16 and im a girl. Ive been obsessed with tumblr lately & I really like the so called " Hipster Rooms " But, thats kinda not original anymore. So Im looking towards a light blue, black, & white colored room. I want a ocean/sailor/anchor type theme. Im painting the walls a light blue. And all my wood furniture is wood (brown) and I would like to paint that white. & Put anchor decals on my wall. Also for my bed. Im putting the mattress on the floor & hanging sheets/material from the ceiling down to my bed. Kinda like a little room for my bed. It looks something like this. But there wont be beams/wood holding it. It will just flow out.

Pleaseee help. I plan on putting a black mini fridge in my room too. My room isnt all that big. Just a standard bedroom. not too big not too small. I also have a closet door & I would love to make the door just a collage of different things from myself and friends to things out of magazines. Thank you

You may want to make a frame to hang from your ceiling to hang the fabric from. Something light like pvc pipe would work, or a hula hoop. Something you can fasten the fabric to, but that would be able to hold the fabric up it you rolled over and tugged on it. Nothing heavy that would hurt you if it fell down though. You could then hang Christmas tree lights strung up through it to create a light - get the new LED ones that don't create any heat.

If you don't have an opening at the top for the hot air to excape, it may get pretty warm in there even though you are making it with sheets. The fabric can trap the moist air that you exhale and make it feel hot and humid.

One idea is to tye-die the sheets. I would dye the bottom of the fabric darker blue, then do some blues, yellows and reds to create a shading of sunset colors. That would go with your ocean theme.

Don't know what a tumblr is but here's a few cool ideas

I did a pvc bed and it was a bit wiggly and the plastic would creak. It also gets brittle and cracks when exposed to light. Maybe use rope rather than wood or pvc. You could get cheap rope from the hardware store or wmart, or get pretty upholstery braid from the sewing store. The hardware store has cheap poplar wood in 1" by whatever size. I'd think a 4" high piece to make a frame to wrap around the base of the bed, and then put holes in the wood, or eye bolts, to tie down the ropes. Or even just tie all the way around the wood and make a fancy nautical knot. You'd only need a cheap hand saw to cut it to size or use the self serve table in the trim section of the hardware store. A drill would be great but with determination you can put in a few screws with just a screwdriver.
