Cutting layer pellets with Duck Grower for 12 week olds- Should be ok Right

I had to put my 12 week old duck in with the layer chickens. The geese are monsters, running around like crazies trampling anything in their path. I did not want to lose a batch of layer pellets. So I thought it would be ok to mix(2:1) the layer pellets in with the duck grower for everybody. Oyste rshell has been removed from pen. Also both feeds are cut with oats.

I think free choice oyster shell might be okay, but you would need to watch the duck.  Also, if it is a small breed, and female, it may be okay for her to be on the layer feed at this point.  Storey's Guide says four weeks before laying to start layer feed.  My earliest girl laid an egg at 16 weeks, so they were getting oyster shell free choice from about 12 weeks on.
