I am viewing this page read. I am going to try this myself. I am left with no other option or my hen will die. Question is with the hens backside facing me, does the needle go in the right side or left. I read right side because origins are on the left? Thank you!

Hi all. I have a 5 month chick with ascites. I tried drawing out some of the fluid and I was only able to get out 10ml. After that she seemed a bit more active, and ate a bit more when I put her back in her coop. My main concern is that when I was draining the fluid, I wasn't able to identify the exact place to inject her. There was a little blood in the fluid that came out. Someone please help me identify exactly where to drain from. Pictures would be very much appreciated.
