GQF or Little Giant Egg Turner

I'm looking to buy an egg turner for a GQF Hovabator. I know either turner will fit in my Hovabator. The main question I have is on the Little Giant. The egg space next to the Little Giant motor is blocked off. This tells me there is a heat issue with this motor. I will lose 1 egg space 41 vs. 42. On the GQF turner this space is not blocked off. So does the GQF motor run cooler? I can buy the Little Giant turner locally at TSC for $43 with tax. I'm looking at $54 including shipping on the GQF turner. I will be mostly hatching jumbo coturnix quail eggs using the universal cups. Which one should I buy?

I like the little giant turner, the GQF clicks. I have both. One egg isn't going to make a difference is it?

No one egg won't make a difference. Thanks for your input.

They both use the same type of motor from what I've seen, and in every type of 41-42 egg turner I have seen there is always 1 or 2 egg spaces that shouldn't be use. Like the old model little giant egg turners. You had to give up 2 egg spaces in that turner. In the little giant and GQF turners, I have only noticed a difference in color.

In the beginning there was nothing. God said, Let there be light! And there was light. There was still nothing, but you could see it a whole lot better. Ellen DeGeneres
