If someone can help me, this is the best picture of this little one that i have and of my 13 chicks the only one i am unsure of as far as gender, it was supposed to be a girl but is turning out to look boyish but I am new to BOs so wondering if this one could just be devoloping a little faster than the other girls?

SANY0415resize.jpg its the only one looking at the camera, and is the only one with wattles and reddish/bigger comb than the others :) Help maybe?

It's a little early to tell, but it's definitely a suspicious sign at such an early age.  If it's a roo, that comb will really grow quickly and you won't be left wondering for long.

My bet is on "pullet".  Even though it's early, the feathers on the back seem very hennish to me.  I guess we'll see if I'm right!  I've seen hens develop combs at different rates, and this one is not screaming "cockerel".

Never mind me.  I really have no idea what I'm talking about, I just like pretending that I do.

Definitely a girl!

A boy would have much more wattle/comb development for how feathered out she is.
