Hello from Virginia

Thread Starter

Hi there everyone!

I am somewhat new to chicken keeping.  We have (at the moment) 9 hens - 3 arucanas, 3 RIRs, 2 Barred PRs and a Buff Orpington.  They are all the same age - 15 months.  I have had them since birth... well a few days after.  :-)

I love having chickens.  It is so fun.

I have been an avid reader of the forums and I find info on the BYC site all the time.  I decided it was time I join.

So - thanks for having me!

Sally

Helen: Daria, do you have to look at everything in such a negative light?

Daria: Could you possibly be referring to the harsh light of reality?

Don't hesitate to ask any questions on the forum, no matter how silly it may be.tongue.png

Enjoy the site and good luck!

If every single person were to stop buying cage eggs and become environmental activists, the world would be a better place.

I went to Mcdonald's and asked for some fries. The cashier said 'would you like some fries with that?'

Life was much simpler when Apple and Blackberry were just fruits.
