Perhaps those owners were like you and didn;t want to take "full responsibility of the cost of caring for their dog!" I wonder what other fees you might not want to meet for your dog? Does your attitude include Vet fees? Spaying/neutering? Licence fees? Insurance costs?

If you didn;t want to meet the cost of having a dog maybe you shouldn't have got one!

I think there is a limit to caring for a pet... would you go into major financial debt to save a dog ? lose your home to a vet bill? eat dog food to save money for other unnecessary things for your dog?  Everyone has their limits and judging other level of care beyond basic care is being a busybody.  If I had to choose food for my family or food for my dog the dog would go but it would not disgrace the times and life it had.

Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton agreed on little publicly, but they did agree that when the public treasury becomes a public trough and the voters recognize that, they will send to government only those who promise them a bigger piece of the pie

Ok, we're done here. It is way too argumentative and lots of flaming going on. Several of you should go enjoy the outdoors for a while. smile.png
